Under the Effective Presidency of His Majesty King Mohammed VI – May God Assist Him, the 2025 edition of the Marhaba Operation to welcome Moroccans Residing Abroad will officially commence on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.
The Foundation, acting in coordination with all national stakeholders, has activated the integrated reception system simultaneously in Morocco and at international sites in France, Spain, and Italy. This twenty-fifth edition is marked by the establishment of new national reception areas at Laâyoune and Dakhla airports, bringing the total number of Marhaba reception sites to twenty-six (26).
A total of twenty (20) reception sites are operational across Morocco. These are located in the ports of Tanger Med, Tanger Ville, Al Hoceima, and Nador Bni Nsar; the airports of Casablanca Mohammed V, Rabat–Salé, Oujda Angad, Nador, Agadir Al Massira, Fès Saïss, Marrakech Menara, Tanger Ibn Battouta, Laâyoune Hassan I, and Dakhla; rest areas in Méditerranée, Jebha, Tazaghine, and Smir M’Diq; and at the Bab Sebta and Mellila border crossings.
Abroad, six (6) Marhaba reception sites are located at key European ports: Genoa (Italy); Sète and Marseille (France); and Motril, Almería, and Algeciras (Spain).
From June 10 to September 15, social and medical assistance services are deployed across these sites to support members of the Moroccan diaspora throughout both arrival and return phases.
More than 1,200 individuals, including Foundation teams, social workers, doctors, paramedics staff, and volunteers, are mobilized to listen, assist, and provide the necessary humanitarian aid and emergency care to our fellow citizens.
These humanitarian services are reinforced by the Central Coordination Office (BCC), based in Rabat and supervised by the Foundation. The BCC oversees field assistance teams, coordinates stakeholder involvement to manage requests, and operates the Marhaba call center.
The Marhaba call service is available 24/7 throughout the duration of the operation at the following numbers:
