The Foundation contributes to the special fund for managing the Coronavirus - Covid 19 Pandemic
In accordance with the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, the Foundation makes a contribution of 10,000,000.00 dirhams (ten million dirhams) to the Special Fund for managing the Coronavirus Pandemic.
This direct contribution comes to reinforce the national drive of solidarity aimed at fighting against the spread of Covid-19, supporting public health as well as the national economy and reducing its effects on the underprivileged populations.
The national solidarity drive initiated by the Sovereign was marked by a strong mobilization of Moroccan citizens and national institutions. Numerous donations in kind (food products, hygiene products, medicines and protective masks) have been made to the Foundation in order to strengthen the means to fight the disease, through direct aid to vulnerable populations. The Foundation has thus organized a solidarity chain that has benefited various social welfare institutions, including orphanages and centers for the elderly throughout the kingdom. Some donations, in the form of medical equipment (artificial respirators) and ambulances were given to regional hospitals and to the Ministry of Health.
