His Majesty King Mohammed VI inaugurated an educational and cultural support center for the development of youth skills.

A new illustration of the royal high concern for young people, this center stems from the Sovereign's constant willingness to ensure the social and cultural development of this section of society, to promote its participation in the dynamics of local development and to guarantee better professional and economic integration.

Its implementation is part of the policy conducted by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, under the impetus of HM the King, and aimed at strengthening social and cultural infrastructure in the city of Casablanca and intervening where the need is greatest, through the adoption of a participatory approach involving all partners at the local level, notably civil society.
A space for meeting, sharing experiences and dialogue between youth, the new facility is meant to stimulate creativity among the target people and to sharpen their talent through the development of educational and cultural activities. It also has for missions the qualification and supervision of young people with a view to their social and economic integration, the improvement of the educational level of children and youth from adjacent neighborhoods, as well as the promotion of voluntary work.
With a covered area of 3,030 m2, the center, which is built in the Sbata neighborhood, includes an exhibition hall, a 210-seat performance and conference hall, a stage, artists' dressing rooms and a meeting room.

The project, which is the result of a partnership between the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, the General Directorate of Local Authorities and the National Initiative for Human Development, will contribute to the development of the intellectual potential and creative and artistic capacities of young people in the region.
